‘Memory of Desire’ 2020 explores fragility versus resilience through the materiality of porcelain and in relation to inherited family memories, specifically when influenced by the trauma of war. By also employing photography, it enquiries into how we negotiate different types of emotions including desire or what these lived experiences mean in terms of our mental health today.
