Teaching and Training

These workshops and courses are taught at Central Saint Martins, across UAL (University of the Arts London) and as part of funded programmes in London. Alicia has worked across different levels of education in the UK. She is a qualified and trained teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Fellow of the Advance Higher Education Academy (FSHE) currently working at the University of the Arts London as Associate Lecturer, teaching on the UAL-wide Academic Support Programme and within the Academic Support service at Central Saint Martins.

Prior to her career in in Higher and Further Education, Alicia acquired extensive experience within business development, which included managerial and senior positions in multinational companies across several industries. This knowledge and skills combined with her qualifications as a learning and development practitioner (CTP/CIPD) and professional coach led her to carry out consultancy projects for SMEs, in collaboration with public institutions and within the Third Sector enabling her to consider the educational, business and fundraising needs of organisations as well as those of individuals.

Alicia attended university in the UK and Spain completing studies in Business, Education, Fine Art and Photography. Her workshops, with an emphasis on wellbeing focus on the creative process using a variety of mediums and techniques to expand knowledge, transform ideas and create a more self-aware approach to artistic/community practice, studies and professional performance.
